Alpha Post

...the Brain hums steadily, with overtones consisting of occasional vibrations -- no, twitches, or better, tics. This Brain takes in a cacophony of sensations both strange and all-too-familiar. Upon digesting this sensory melange, it sometimes responds by signalling its imaginary body to move. Some of those movements look like fingers tapping. Some of those taps appear to strike what the senses describe as a keyboard. And somehow there comes into being a recursive mapping (through and past time) -- from the motor output to the sensory input, wherein the Brain sees what it has just typed.
